Time 2B Offline is a Youth Exchange project which aims to prevent Internet addiction behavior among 30 young people aged 16-22 from 5 countries: Romania, Estonia, Lithuania, Turkey and Armenia.
Most of the project’s activities will be carried out outdoors using non-formal education methods such as debates, brainstorming, role-play, treasure hunt, interactive games, games that stimulate creativity, communication and trust, and will create the opportunity for young people to inter-relate, to express themselves freely, to be closer to one another.
It’s important to know that the participants will have limited access to internet for the project dates (only 30 minutes per day). There will be an emergency email. Someone from the organizing team will be online 24/7 so that parents can contact at any time.
Moreover, chosen participants will need to complete a daily diary about their internet habits in June and in August – one month before the project and one month after the project.
Objectives:
1. A main objective of the project is that young participants identify the advantages and disadvantages of using the Internet, by the end of the exchange.
2. Another important objective is that the 30 young participants have a better understanding of the
effects the Internet has on their social life, by the end of the 8-month project.
3. The third main objective is that the 30 young people identify alternative activities for spending
time, by the end of the exchange.
Costs:
- Accommodation,3 times meal are covered
- Visa costs/Insurance are covered
- Travel cost up to 275 will be provided
- Membership Fee 100EUR
